Titanium Dioxide is often used in creams, foundations and tinted moisturisers to help provide coverage for your colour.Ā It can also be used in mineral make-up for the same reason, where it can act as a base in which to blend your coloured iron oxides and micas. Typically titanium dioxide is used at 0-10% in a formula to cover most applications.

In addition, titanium dioxide gives products opacity, and helps to add definition to bubbles in soap lather. ItĀ is a pure white pigment that occurs naturally as a crystal.
