Other names: Sunset Yellow Powder FCF / E110 / Orange Yellow S / CI Food Yellow 3 / CI 15985.
Although the description reads Sunset Yellow, this actually yields a golden orange colour.
This dye is water soluble, so it dissolves in water to give amazing colour effects. If used incorrectly, this dye can stain. Any staining on hands or skin is temporary.
Dilute in distilled water and add to product drop by drop until you achieve the colour shade you require, or by following appropriate usage guidelines.
This product is suitable for use in bath salts, creams, lotions, bath foams, bath bombs, make-up, shampoos, conditioners, soap, styling, perfumes, facial cleansing, body care, baby care, sun protection, after-sun and self tanning.
Even though water soluble dye does not require polysorbate 80 by itself, once you start adding others oils and fragrances, this changes the chemical balance, so we always recommend using polysorbate 80 for the best colour effects.
